i've never been over there and i thank god and pray that i won't have to, but i have had friends over there
he was in the business of escorting w/ a humvee. he was the gunner actually - slept w/ the 50 cleaned and polished under his bed. he was telling me how many of the early humvees over there didn't have doors or shields for the gunner.
it's all differing perspectives. i wouldn't necessarily fault the humvee for having to drive like that, and i wouldn't fault an ambulance here for driving like that either - diff crisis, same situation.
