As evidenced by the requests for catted units, there seem to be people contemplating it, but to each his own, my man. I want a no-smelling, emissions-passing, catted X pipe, so I'll find a way to make it happen.
It also helps to have a friend that's a (practicing) certified welding instructor who has extensive Ti welding experience
