^The CF piece on my old car was def. not designed to be exposed to sunlight for 365 days a year for 4 years. I waxed it religiously. What wax/sealent did you have in mind?
Who knows, maybe BMW uses better clear coat/UV protectant? After going through what I did with my spoiler, it would be a lot easier to park the car indoors or at least put a cover on during the day given the large surface area for a CF roof on the E92.
In retrospect, I should have just used an old sheet or towel and cover my spoiler while it was parked outside whenever the car is parked for a long time like when I'm at work, it takes like 2 secs to take it off.
