FYI, my car was a VT625 not 650, currently the motor is being built with LC drop in pistons, rods and fuel kit.
I think you're asking a fair question, the VT650 makes a little bit more power, but who needs a VT650 when a VT600 and 625 DCT can run 6.8seconds 60-130?
The next logical step for those who want to go faster, like me, is lowering the compression, and getting bigger #'s reliably on 91 octane.
