If I were a tuning shop, I would approach a few other tuning shops about putting together and sponsoring an east coast event. SC/NC would work for everyone and I bet after losing a few races to a heavily modded mustang, people's wallets would open quickly to buy some performance mods.
I bet plenty of people would get more into performance mods if something like this was available on the east coast.
