I know you probably don't want to but I'd add a trunk sub and put the OEM subs back in and use them as midbasses. Even a decent 10 will give you more quality low end than those SWSs.
I don't think he has a grounding issue because he only has noise on the rear speakers. I'm leaning towards a speaker terminal shorting out on something,
