Well, depending on your wages, 10% isn't exactly that much a difference; it's just barely padding on cost of living... Like even $5,000 a month salary is a transition to $500 more to offset perhaps $200 more in living expenses, so netting $300 more (minus whatever bite Uncle Sam wants to take out of it) isn't exactly impressive. Try testing the waters with other companies.
