I am on an 2nd Harbor Freight jack. My old one started leaking fluid. It still worked but pumped slower and made a lot of creaking noise. That one lasted me a good 7 years so I figured it was time. The best thing about this jack is the low weight which makes it easy to transport and carry by hand.
I abused that jack to no end. I took it to the track, used it at home, outside on the street working on cars on the sidewalk, thrown in car trunks, I used it to compress suspension arms when changing out coilovers, even had a car drive over it by accident... It looked terrible but still worked the day I replaced it.
For $80, it's a good deal. Every now and then you can get a great deal on it for $50 after some coupon stacking. That's a steal at that price.
