Year round... I had another M3 last winter and it was great. Very easy to drive and control IF you have winter tires. My only comment is avoid the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 tires... they suck in deeper snow and ice. Go with the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 and you will be in great shape for the winter. I only needed to take my wife's SUV twice last winter.
