The Ferrari sold 10-20 599 China editions from last year;

Lambo sold 20 670 SV China editions this year;

Also, BMW sold about 50 760Li China PRC(People's Republic of China) 60 years anniversary editions last year.

I think the M3 tiger edition logic is OK considering numbers above. But 250 units are way too much for Chinese market. Imported low-profile high performance cars like M3 doesn't fit the market very well with the super high price-tag (3 times of a E90 3-series).
