BIMMERPOST Tuner Wars Grand Prix Coverage - Hockenheimring, Germay
Tuner GP Hockenheimring, Germany:
WHAT an event!
Also known as the
Tuner Wars
... It is hosted by German car magazine
Sport Auto
annually. Nearly every major German car tuner attends, along with some smaller private teams. The atmosphere is more like a club racing event than a high stress professional race, with lots of rare and expensive cars thrown in!
Fastest car around the Hockenheimring track wins. And also they had a drifting challenge in the SACH's curve right in front of the grand stands. It was a very cool event! Check out our coverage (by moderator Dackelone) inside.
Plus... you had most all the German car makers brought lots of tasty cars from their museum collections. This event will be on my calendar next year for sure!
I am not sure what car I saw more examples of... the Mclaren MP4-12c's or the new 1M's. I think there were seven or eight of each(!) at Hockenheim.
For more info you can visit Sport Auto's write up here(in German)...
