When did I say anything negative about the Sessantas? I'm not knocking them. I just said not to go with an alternative that degraded performance because tires are the single most noticeable consumable on the car.

I have a feeling the Sessantas are decent replacements based on the feedback that many have given. However, I still have to try them myself before I give them a nod. The Hankook Ventus V12 Evo also seem like a viable alternative for less money. There's no way I'd go with something like Toyo T1-R's or worse yet, General Exclaim UHP's.

Even though my car has only 3,600 miles on it, I already have a set of replacement PS2's sitting in the garage that I got from someone who took them off an '09 with <1k miles. I couldn't pass up the deal to get PS2's for less than Sessantas.
