For something that big use the BMW touch up paint with a better brush. You are going to fill in the chip until there is a "blob" higher than the height of the paint and then wet sand it smooth then polish out the sanding scratches. Remember when polishing that the OEM paint around the touch up will be much stronger and if you're not careful you will remove all of the paint from the chip while polishing. I recommend letting the "blob" dry for a couple days so it can harden.

If you're not comfortable wet sanding I would take to a professional.

Dr color chip is a quick way to fill in a bunch of small chips and get so-so results.

This is a huge chip and you want it to be as good as possible so color chip is not right for this application.
