yeah, i took those factors into account (temp around 40 degrees, first big rain in a while, etc.). we'll see.
the guy who installed the vredesteins was a big michelin honk and could not stop going off on what a disservice i was doing to a great car by installing these tires. asshole was just shaking his head the whole time he was working on the tires.
that left a nagging feeling (particularly why he had to really place the balancing weights so conspicuously on the wheel?), but for now i'll be patient and trust the guys on this forum. thanks for the feedback.
