I want to get the snap in adapter for phone (love the idea of improved reception by wiring to the external antenna). Has anyone successfully installed this feature? I'm wondering if i need to flash my iDrive to upgrade the software.

I have the same problem with my 5s and my '09 M3. It pairs fine for phone calls but I cannot connect the phone for music.
