Yes, the ED did not turn out to be as good of an option as I had initially thought. Actually it does not make sense if its just to save money. It actually could cost you the same or even more. The main reason is that most of the banks will not finance ED cars. So you are forced to go through bmw financial. I was pre approved with Bank of America for 3.2%. As soon as they found out that it is ED, they refused. Now I am paying 6% to bmw financials. And it does not help when bmw charges different rates for different cars. The M3 does not qualify for their lowest interest rate deals!
