Upgraded rotors are definitely nice.
Only suspension change I've heard of so far was that they added more caster - which is great for tyre wear since you can have less static camber going straight.
(edit : also, the electronic dampers have a larger range - softer soft, harder hard)
The way I see it (personally) is that the $~30k difference between used 09 and new 12 goes a long way in mods - which is enough money to exceed the improvements for the new model.
But that's irrelevant if you're simply in the market for a new car, which the 12 is, and the 09 isn't.
I would probably jump ship if they made a manual version, though.
