You are correct - ran it today and sure enough you could feel the heat in the lines right about when the temp on my scan tool hit 95.
Also, if anyone else has to change the oil cooler with an oil change, it took an additional 2.75 quarts to bring the oil just below full on the display. Add it in stages and keep checking the level.
