The phone-specific cradle is not included with the car. It only comes with the dock and a blank cover.
I didn't expect this as after checking off the smart phone integration and iPod option, I thought for sure the cradle was included. But it is not.
I bought a used cradle from the Classifieds here for my 3G iPhone and it works great. I do perceive better signal strength when using the cradle.
