I ran a supercharger and a cat-less x-pipe, and any shop that will pass you is doing something illegal, let's not kid ourselves here. You fail visual inspection, and everybody in the shop can smell it. They just looked the other way, which is cool, but yes, it is illegal, especially since removing cats is a federal offense.

We are all aware of it, and I don't care, but lets be honest here.
