Currently, I have a 2011 E93 M3. I've only had it about 6 months or so and it's great...especially now that the nice weather is finally showing up here in the northeast.

However, my commute may be changing a bit so I'm not quite sure the M3 is the best car. It's a long commute and gas prices stink. The new 1M has caught my attention as a more "practical" car I guess you can call it. It's cheaper, better on gas, smaller (due to Manhattan days), etc.

Has anyone driven one yet? Any thoughts on the car?
