But if you DO get a 36mm socket...I think most rear axle nuts are 12pt 36mm...might want to get one that will remove the spindle nut whenever you need to do rear axle/wheel bearing work.

we never plan to do any of this crap away from our garage. it just happens. at that size, unless you get an impact socket, it will not be 6 point, so no worries there. the 36mm craftsman socket is 12 point. my really big (includes 36mm) metric impact sockets are 6 point 3/4" drive.
