Wing Bowl 19 (lots of pics)

Last Friday before the Superbowl, I attended Wing Bowl 19 in Philadelphia.

It is currently held at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, where it is still broadcast live on WIP. There are currently no television deals to broadcast the event live; however, a replay is usually shown on WPSG, Comcast SportsNet, or one of the other local stations within the following week. The Wing Bowl now draws crowds of 20,000 or more.
Quick background of what I know:
Every year, the the Wing Bowl is held the Friday before the Superbowl. People watch a wing eating contest, start drinking early, and then all the strip clubs in Philly open up early. We went to Delilah's at ~9am and the place was already packed. We couldn't even find parking in the lot (or the adjacent lot). We parked on a side street and walked 3 blocks. Keep in mind, this was at about 9am. Awesome.

During the actual Wing Bowl event, there are quite a few chicks who like to flash their bewbs. I was there this time with my Canon 7D and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS to capture all the goodness.

The pictures I'm posting here should follow all the forum rules, however just take caution. Some pics might be fine for some work places, but not others. There are no blatant NSFW pics here.

This year, Ron Jeremy was there (saw him later at the strip club). He's a pretty nasty dude, obviously doesn't treat women with respect at all, and it's obvious. Kobayashi was there too and broke the record for eating a cheesesteak....well, shattered the record.

I also have quite a bit of nice 1080p HD video I took of the event, but it's taking quite a bit of time to edit (plus this is my first time doing anything with video). Well, enjoy!

Thursday evening, with some mild drinking. Nothing crazy here.

About 5:30am or so and the streets in front of the Wells Fargo Center is already starting to get crowded. Tons of people already there from the night before in the parking lot. We were roughly 5 beers in at this point.

One of the two main hosts for the event.

Starting to fill up. The event was sold out.

One of the first "floats" that came out.

Apparently this guy is important or something. Him bringing out the chicken is supposed to signify the start of the event or something. Who knows.

Kobayashi showed up too.

One of the contestants, along with his "wingettes". The thing on the right is actually a stripper pole.

This guy was actually throwing pieces of chicken into the crowd lulz.

Front of the same float.

Zoom baby! They were topless roughly 5 seconds before I was able to snap the shot.

Yeah, this happened a lot too.

These guys walked in halfway through. Funny. In Soviet Russia, wing eats you?

Don't need to mention how packed this place was.

This was Katie Morgan, porn star. She was at the bar I was at on Thursday evening too. Pretty body, meh face. I actually took a pic of the camera lens since it's the same one I have.

The crowd around me was yelling at this girl (seated 3 rows in front) to show her bewbs. It never happened.

This was her friend, who was sorta cute. Similiar efforts were made, to no avail.

Who let the kid in?

This guy was prepared.

Shot from 2 years ago when I went. This year, nobody puked.

Too slow with the camera. These chicks were nekkid too a few seconds before.

Another prepared guy.

She had enough of people yelling at her to take off her top. She left a few seconds later.

And finally, have multiple shots of this one, but this is the cleanest one I could post.

Well, hope you enjoyed. It was a fun event. Only $10 for a ticket, but you had to get them early. Hotels filled up quickly too. We were lucky to book the Holiday Inn
