OP, you already made the decision and just move on... I'm sure the wife is happy as well. But personally, after owning SUVs in the past, my E90 M3 is the best of all; plenty of room and still very fun to drive.
$800 for a stroller dude??? That might have been the bigger mistake
I have two kids, and the best stroller we ever had was the cheap A$$ strollers from Walmart ($20)... lightweight and they took a lot of beatings.
