We stayed at Le Meridien which was nice and pretty centrally located. We wanted to stay a little closer to the center of the city.
I have found trip advisor to be a very good resource when looking for a hotel. I had my kids with me so a pool was a requirement for the hotels we stayed in. The best one we wound was the Wolf-Dietrich in Salzburg if you happen to be headed there.
