LOL. US auto laws are f*$&ing rediculous. You can drive a motorcyle with no helmet in my state, but you can't buy a car that doesn't have 300lbs of safety equipement, TPMS, stability control, etc.

Apperantly us lame car drivers can't take care of ourselves, but a 16 year old with a Gixxer is just fine on his own.

I'm not advocating for more safety requirements on motorcycles, but less requirements on cars. Let the consumer decide!!!

The ironic unintended consequence of all of the safety requirements are cars that are heavier, and thus get worse gas milage and cars that are more expensive, so people continue to drive their less safe, heavier poluting cars longer.
