I do not know much about the N54 motor.....the materials, compression, cooling, fuel supply, etc. etc. to be able to properly answer this question. From what I have heard, the internals are strong, but the heat management is weak. Adding extra boost will generate a lot more heat, and that might be your weak link.

You can try to overcome heat management issues by:

1. larger radiator with more powerful coolant/water pump
2. Higher capacity oil pan
3. Larger oil cooler
4. Larger or more efficient intercoolers to handle the extra heat from the extra boost.
