We are also debating upgrading our wife's X5. It is getting rather old. The Macan is going to be really awesome. I love the Cayenne, but the X5M is a bargain when compared to a Cayenne Turbo (yea I know the Turbo is a better car in the same way as the 911s is a better car than the M3). My wife won't use the power of the X5M either, but she loves the handling, steering, and brakes. The X5M feels like it stops just as well as my M3. All that power is more for my enjoyment.
