The same could be said of the whole M3 interior. But I like it ... no clutter. The thing I'd do is just change the knob, or put something like leather over it. I think the extra buttons are slightly overrated compared to clean lines of the '08. Of course, taking the whole of the '09 iDrive upgrade, the new iDrive is a step up. Just, IMHO. Peace
