Quite an absurd argument. 3 series, including the M3 is a dime a dozen in any major urban city. Here in Toronto I see dozens of 3 series every day, and at least 1-2 of these is an M3. In fact it isn't unusual for me to see 3 or even 4 M3 in one day. As for the GT3, well, the 911 is also a dime a dozen and ubiquitous. GT3 are a bit rare, because let's be honest only a hardcore track rat would get one of these rough raw uncomfortable cars, and even they don't daily drive them, but most people won't recognize a GT3 over a regular 911, and you won't get any brownie points for driving a GT3. If you wanna be exclusive and show off, get a Pagani or Bugatti. An M3 or any of the gazillion flavors of the 911 won't get you far.
