X-pipe and fuel mixture: richer, leaner, or no change?

Hi guys. I have a few questions for those of you who have experience with installing an X-pipe on an otherwise stock car.

1. Does it cause the mixture to run richer or leaner, and to what degree?

2. Does the factory software adapt, and to what degree?

3. What am I leaving on the table if I do not get a tune with an x-pipe in terms of whp/wtq?

4. Finally, what is the difference when you add HFC's to the x-pipe?

I know all cars are different in terms of their state of tune with stock software, but I would assume all would react in similar ways to the addition of an x-pipe. Thanks for your help in advance.
