I guess my basic approach has always been. Don't spend money on aftermarket parts that serve no purpose in the performance of the car. When buying performance parts its ok to consider the appearance but its always secondary to function.
It is somewhat ironic that I am posting on this thread since I have 3 sets of rims for the lotus.
1: OEM with 048Ms
2: Autocross, SSRs with Hoosiers
3: Track, SJ Racing with Toyo's
I also get grief because I have 3 diffrent R comps and no real street tires for the car.
