If we are talking motors and their weights, let's look at them.
3.2L I6 in the M3 weighs 478 pounds and makes 333hp.
3.5L V6 in the IS350 weighs 390 pounds and makes 306hp.
New 4.0L M3 V8 weighs 445 pounds and makes 414hp.
Cannot get the 5.0L IS-F V8's weight right now, but it makes 416hp.
7.0L Z06 V8 weighs 458 pounds and makes 505hp.
Even Chrysler's piece of crap 6.1L HEMI weighs 399 pounds and makes 425hp.
So which one is the boat anchor?
Is engine weight vs. hp how an engine should be measured? You tell us.
