While I don't know all the specific including import tariffs and taxes on German cars, it needs to be said that the prices we get here in the States are the exception to the rule. Everywhere else in the world the M3 is selling for what can be converted to $120k +.

So instead of asking how they can justify selling it for so much around the world you should be asking how did we get so lucky as to get such a deal on it. The answer to the latter is that the American market is huge but competitive. So deals and exceptions are made for foreign car makers to compete at such lower prices.
