The Geneva show wil be March 2007, not May.
Looks to me like the rumors from multiple countries (thanks M3 biggest fan, Jussi) as well as analysis about typical and past BMW release schedules is honing in on a final answer. Official info. soon, perhaps Dec-Feb, as a pre-show announcement, a probable 1st showing in Geneva in March, customer shipments to Europe in late summer 2007 (as 2008 model) and finally shipments to us in the US around September 2007. Sound about right?

It sure is much easier psychologically to believe the earliest date possible. Sure will suck hard if it is not as we expect. Last but not least, although I almost never trust dealers, the sales manager where I have a deposit said today he doubts a showing in Geneva. Of course I asked him for his source and will let you all know his reply, if any.
