Actually I was the guy who curbed his car. The insurance company was going to pay for the new engine if BMW could prove there was something wrong the current one but they couldnt so I still have my stock engine. The insurance company did say though that if the engine does blow at sometime in the future that they will pay for a new engine.
Even after reading this review, I still would have like to get this engine. It would have been a cool approvement over stock.
