BMW interiors are far superior in quality and fit and finish compared to any other car manufacturer (besides maybe ferrari) so far as i'm concerned. The cars wear well and do not turn into rattle boxes (in my experience) as an owner and valet driver at a local 5 star hotel.
Mercedes are great cars, don't get me wrong, but the quality of the interiors, fit, finish, and overall attention to detail is just lackluster. I've driven the new C multiple times, and agree that the styling is dramatic and appealing, yet the interior is cheap feeling. I can't help but feel MB won't change any of the interior plastics or anything in the C63 to make it feel any better.
With the c63 though, MB will allow you to special order and they will build to spec with AMG Performance Studio accessories (carbon brakes, suspension found on the CLK63 BLACK edition, etc, etc).
Both will be great cars, and I suppose time and opinion will only tell which is the better of the two.
