actually, I would say, you might have only overpaid by about $2k-$4k. Not a big deal considering you got the car you want in the options you wanted, and I assume you can swing the extra $2k or so, after all you are dropping +$45k already.
Buying a used car is always a huge compromise based on options, price, mileage, location, etc. You usually end up making 1 or 2 concessions. When I bought my pre-owned, I got 100% what I wanted, and the price was exactly what I wanted, but my concession was location...
