Just got a crack on my windshield last night (darn i295). Dealership quoted me $1285 for replacement and labor!! WTF?
Dealership or not, I do know I am getting an OEM windshield because I know for a fact aftermarket stuff is crap.

Dealer is about 4 x more than the ordinary aftermarket windshield which is probably made in China from what I've been told.
