For clarification, the SWS-8 is NOT plug-and-play.
1. You have to cut off the OEM speaker connector and solder the wires to the SWS's terminals (or use crimp-on terminal connectors).
2. The bottom of the subwoofer enclosure requires modification and there is a spacer required on the baffle in order for the SWS-8 to fit.
Also, there is NO improvement in bass response when the SWS is installed with the factory amplifier. It may actually be a bit less since the SWS is likely much less efficient than the OEM woofers.
