Exactly. Some BS rumor on autoblog in Holland is no better than "close to" 20 seconds quicker than the E46 M3 from a SA journalist. We know from pics with the timing equpment that test drivers continue to pound the ring. So perhaps 8:12 was the best time on a cold winter track and that is consistent with the best time now being "very close" to 8:00 flat.
