For the money you would pay your dealer should let you have a car to take home for the weekend to check out the ride. Of course if it is a small dealership they will not do this, at a larger dealership they should.
In our area here it is a matter of course that the dealer will let you take it home or at least let you have the car for a good 1/2 hour test drive.
