This is absolutely false. The DCT was never serviced at 1200 miles, only the manual transmission fluid on 6MT cars. BMW says the DCT fluid is a lifetime fill and never needs to be changed.
I've heard it is expensive fluid and requires dealership tools to change the fluid properly since you need to tell the DCT to turn on the pump to drain the fluid completely.
