I personally am not a fan of mixing tire types. More than likely on the street it won't make much of a difference except for the obvious aesthetic differences, but once being pushed around, you will definitely notice it.

For street use, the difference between 285 and 245 will be miniscule. Again, pushing at an autocross or track is when you will really begin to see the differences.
