You're not giving even one shit but the time calls for you to be cordial. You're forced into listening to a ridiculously drawn out story that you are sure is exaggerated or lacking in substance or both. Stories like:

-How drunk they were able to get without someone noticing their intoxication.
-How they thought they had left something at home but actually hadn't.
-How they "designed [their] own diet" and it is working better than any of the big name ones
-How they had a chance to publicly correct someone, and did.
-How their horse is so smart.
-How quickly they made it to and from lunch
-How they were told not to do something, but did anyway.
-How the book was better than the movie
-How to tell their nearly identical dogs apart for the sake of calling them by name
-How they saw their ex around town

A bit of a rant, yes, I've had stupid stories in my ear all day.
Any others that get on your nerves?
