So, for those who care about F1, I guess you'll have read the reports that Vettel and Webber are now blaming Lewis Hamilton for causing the crash on Sunday, where Vettel ran into the back of Webber whilst driving behind the safety car. Hamilton is under investigation by the stewards and may be stripped of his win or suffer a placement penalty on the grid in China.

I've watched the footage and really can't see how anyone can blame Hamilton. Drivers always speed up and brake hard behind the safety car. They have to keep the tyres and brakes up to temperature to make sure they are effective when the race restarts. If Webber and Vettel were too stupid to keep a safe distance then they can hardly blame someone else for their mistakes. I'd love to here any other thoughts on this. Who do you think was to blame...?

There always seems to be this last minute controversy in most recent F1 seasons. I mean even though I prefer the red car, last year, Alonso was penalised for holding Massa up because he slowed down on his in lap in qualifying when Massa was almost the whole straight behind! Can't remember the exact race but it was one of the last 3 of the season. I don't really like Alonso but I still thought that was out of order.

As for Hamilton, since Schumi has left the scene, he is the new man - shame he's in a Silver car but still I don't think that'll be forever. A bit like when Senna died and when Schumacher took over the main man role, which lasted from 1994 to 2004 (at least). It is for this very reason that he's going to get grief on his way to the top. What a story though!

Vettel - new kid. Webber - he'll never win a race and if he does it'll be a fluke. So they've both got reason to say what they did. Webber changed his story though. But saying all this, and NOT blaming Hamilton for things that are normal, I think he WILL be dropped back 10 places in China and that outcome may come out today. Hope I'm wrong, can't wait for China though!

Please put Hamilton in a Ferrari in 2009!
