That post was a follow-up on Post #87 discussing Android phones only, definitely can't use those cheap modules with the iPhone.

Though actually the newest HLT beta build supports bluetooth (I have been experimenting with it and the GoPoint BT1). Whenever the newest build gets supported by Apple, you'll be able to use bluetooth.

But they are still obscenely expensive compared to the Android options
