Nissan is retuning the suspension on the GT-R in 2011 to have a bit better ride quality for daily driving. Not sure if this is worth waiting to you. But it also seems the price is going up since they eliminated the base model.

Btw, since you are pretty concerned with cost have you taken a look at Edmund's cost analysis yet? The GTR is not cheap to operate by any means. Much more expensive running costs than the M since you pay for the maintenance out of pocket. I think it was like $7k for the 15k service or something which includes new brakes.
