yes OP is entitled to a quality replacement; but don't just write false information. PGW (Pittsburg Glass Works) aka PPG supplies many OEM glass. A/M glass is structural and thus tolerances are important. Thinner glass? No; maybe on some of the cheaper A/M chinese glass, but most A/M that's quality is a USA product. Again, make sure to check for deformities in the glass
