Putting up my 2008 E92 for sale. Currently the car is in storage for the winter, covered and hooked up to a battery tender. I purchased the car in March 2011 and have loved and babied it since then.
Right now it has 34,219 miles on the clock. The original 5 year free maintenance ran out on 12/24/12, so the CPO kicked in and covers the car until 12/24/14. The only maintenance done has been regular scheduled and oil changes. It's been maintained by my local dealership and has no problems. It's never been driven in the snow or on a track.
It had the original Michelin tires on until April 2012. They were replaced with Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports, 255 front and 275 rear. The new tires have roughly 10k miles on them and have a good bit of tread left. I have a pic of the front tires below. The garage was fairly small and getting a usable pic of the rear tires was tough. If necessary, I can try to find a way to get a good pic of the tread on those as well.
There are some paint chips in the front, nothing out of the ordinary for 34k miles. The wheels are the stock gunmetal 18's. One rear wheel has some black paint on one of the spokes, which was there when I purchased the car. The same wheel also has some minor curb rash, about 1.5 inches long. If somebody is serious about buying, I will get some detailed pics of anything they want.
The only aftermarket parts on the car are the LUX angel eyes, which were installed in April 2012. The original bulbs are wrapped up in the glovebox.
I did purchase and have my dealer install the latest BMW Performance Steering Wheel (
Video here). I have the original wheel as well.
As far as the interior, everything is in good shape. The only issue is some slight peeling of the coating on the steering wheel trim.
Finally, the car does have the cold weather package.
Again, for serious buyers, I can get some more detailed pictures of anything on the car. For now, I am trying to keep this local as I do not yet own the car outright, but we'll see what kind of interest I get.
